Asphalt
Asphalt roofing is the traditional choice for homeowners. Asphalt shingles are cost-effect, durable, and easy to maintain. These shingles offer the widest choice in colors, texture, and quality. Asphalt shingles have a long lifespan and 25-30 year manufacturer's warranties. These roofs are lighter than tile and ecoshake® roofing, making them ideal for residential construction. Ease of installation also helps homeowners maintain ideal budgets.
Ecoshake
The eco-shake® is an innovative roofing material comprised of 100% recycled materials, reinforced vinyl and cellulose fiber. The eco-shake shingle is designed to resemble and replace wood shake shingles.
The eco-shake has a Class A fire rating and a Class 4 impact rating, the highest ratings achievable from Underwriters Laboratories (UL®). It performs well even in extreme weather conditions with no cracking, fading, or curling. An eco-shake roof requires minimum to no maintenance and is backed by a 50 year transferable warranty.
Metal
A metal roof has a similar lifespan to a house, sealing out water and insects, and surviving high winds. Metal is resistant to fire, hail, mildew, and rot. Warranties can vary widely, with the most common backing their products between 20 and 50 years. Paint finishes are available for metal roofs, with 30 year limited warranties.
